How it all began!
Comfort Designs, an interior design firm, was established in 2005 by Sue Comfort in New Jersey. The firm gained momentum through referrals, a testament to Sue's engaging personality, quickly establishing a strong client base.
During the initial decade, Sue forged essential connections with builders and vendors, fostering enduring friendships due to her relational approach.
In 2014, Sue's daughter Maddie joined the family business, injecting youthful energy with her fresh perspective. Having witnessed her mom's business growth, Maddie eagerly contributed her skills to various aspects of the business. The mother-daughter duo spent the next decade bringing their unique partnership to each project, creating a warm atmosphere.
In 2022, Kiersten, a close friend with a background in sales and marketing, joined the team. Serving as an administrator, Kiersten’s addition allowed Sue and Maddie to focus on their design expertise.
Now celebrating over 20 years in operation, Comfort Designs remains a design business with a warm and inviting reputation for excellence and professionalism. While rooted in New Jersey, the firm extends its services nationwide, catering to clients from New York, Florida, Kentucky, and beyond.
